Solar powered canal boat. Now there's an idea - especially for warmer climates.Maybee its a seasonal thing, as i spend less time on the computer and more time out and about when the weather is nice.
spent all of yesterday doing my other "Job" working up the canal, as we had the official opening of the next lock yesterday. i was busy lockkeeping / controlling the water levels in my section and was out all day from 6.45am until 8pm.

Canals have always interested me - ever since I did a primary school project when I was a kid. Hence why I'd love to be able to get water-borne (canoe/little skiff and wildcamp).
You'd know the history of canals far better than me no doubt, but every day I drive past the mine openings which lead onto the bridgewater. Had meal in the John Gilbert pub as well as Worsley Old Hall - I think these are connected to the origins of canals
