I have been tidying up my TV corner but have been left with an ugly trailing socket and multiple power leads.

Does anybody know of any neat 4 or 6 gang 13a trailing sockets - perhaps with some form of cover, that cover-up all the plugs, leaving one with just a neat "box" effect, into which the power feed and various component power leads dissapear?

Thanks

Why not mount the 6w socket on the wall?

That will allow access, keep the plugs off the floor and help prevent the whole area becoming a dust trap.

I get your point, but I'd rather have one lead running from the wall to my TV stand (with the trailing sockets tucked in just behind that), than 5 leads running from the wall to the TV stand. Just a question of personal aesthetics, I guess.

Sorry (to make things clear) I was suggesting you mount the sockets on the trailing lead (3w to 8W depending on size) on the wall behind the TV. So I was considering your aesthetics
Consider that some items of TV kit (esp Freeview) come with a plug transformer, so the closed in extension socket would be useless should you have a transformer that needs plugging in.

You could then buy some spiral wrap (IKEA do some thick stuff) and loom all the cables between the TV cabinet containing DVD, PVR, Sky, TV etc back to the fixed / mounted 3-8w socket.

Or is your TV in an island location away from all walls?

Why not just hide the 6-way behind the telly, like I do

Do you really think that the OP is still looking for a product after more than 4 years?
