Tile Shade Difference Help

Whilst everyone has their little bit of hindsight to add, if it'd been me, I would have opened the boxes of tiles as soon as they were procured to check they matched. Different tile batches are well renowned for not matching

But the grout lines don't line up on the wall given that they used a full tile to the right of the flexi. It may be the case that the toilet pan will hide that, in which case it isn't an issue.

BTW- the tilling looks pretty good otherwise.

Thanks mate, the guy admits he is no tiler but he's just been tiling for a long time.

Update on the colour thing though, CTD have agreed with me that the tiles should be the same colour given the description on the site, so they are taking it up with their supplier and honouring a FOC replacement for a suitable tile. I'll head over this afternoon and try to find one which matches as close as damnit... also, point is taken on the mismatch tile widths, I can use the opportunity to try and find a 400 width tile (if those are a thing) and we can now line the grout lines through.

So big shout out to CTD who really came through in the end.

I tile but cannot call myself a dedicated tiler.

Fair play to CTD. I know quite a few tilers that use them. The colour difference is shocking. In their defence, they just add the info passed to them by their supplier. Nevertheless, you will be out of pocket. The tiler will need to rip the floor tiles up and possibly the row of tiles near the loo. He will then need to scrape away the existing adhesive.

I'm just going to tile over tile and then deal with the slight step up at the threshold tbh.

It would be too much upheaval at this point to strip the existing tiles up, although I'm loathe to go over the top of anything usually. It's not an ideal situation to be sure.
