Hi,
My house was Built circa 1880. The ground floor is Cast Concrete (one of the 1st times this method had been used in domestic construction I am told) with a timber frame upper floor. This is finished with Lath & Plaster on the inside and tile hung on the outside.
Obviously there is nothing I can do to insulate the ground floor (with it being 14 inches cast concrete) but is there anything I can do to insulate the upstairs? i'm not keen on ripping out all the oldness of the house. Can I get someone to inject poly beads into gaps between the wooden joists within the wall?
Thanks in advance, Great forum.
Dom
