Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this illegal if fitted in the bathroom? Thanks for the link but had already found this device as this is where I bought the heater for the rail! Think the best option for me is an immersion heater time switch.

I thought that switchgear was allowed in Zone 3 or outside the zones?

Switchgear is indeed allowed in zone three (even a lightswitch....sharp intake of breath) and also outside the zones ie airing cupboard.
So the heat regulator is Ok for the airing c/board.
