just recently I've started feeling really tired by mid day, it seems too small a thing to go bother the doctor with, maybe its the weather but I feel that I could just curl up and sleep, what do you rekon guys, strong coffee maybe?

Do you have a craving for lemonade too?

I think you might be a borderline diabetic. Ask your doctor for a 'glucose tolerance' test. What happens is your body has glucose in your system but doesn't know how to deal with it. I have the same problem as did my dad at my age.

Middle age doesn't help either.

Probably just the heat Richard. It's getting to everyone even up here in the North East!

I know you say you've got swollen feet and ankles but is there any pain in the legs? At the risk of alarming you, weakness and/or fatigue and leg pain, 'can be' a symptom of Diabetes. Also, some diabetics claim to crave sweet things. Their blood has sugar in it (from their diet), but their body is unable to process it so the cells are starved of sugar.

Might be worth a check up at the docs mate just to be sure.

EDIT: I see Joe has mentioned Diabetes.

Hey Blas. I've just told him that.

Could it be diabetes?

They are also symptoms of heart failure (minus the sugar craving), but I sincerely hope it is not that.

Please go to the Dr. ASAP, richard.

Sorry. Missed Blas's post and joe's was on ignore.

If it's just come on of recent, it could well be fatigue, this normaly corrects it's self after a bit or rest and some good nights sleep, if you are either over or under weight this will also have an effect.
If it continues, do go see your GP.
