Just because you don’t like something, that doesn’t mean you have to have a hatred of those things. I don’t like the Green Party but I have no hatred of them.

Don't know if it is different in Scotland, but in England anything up to 12 ft lb you don't need a FAC, and under 6 for a pistol.

Part 1 of the Air Weapons and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2015
Advanced licensing opened on 1 July 2016 and the full powers in Part 1 of the 2015 Act came into force on 31 December 2016. It is now a legal requirement for a person to have an air weapons certificate, or in some cases a permit, to use, possess, purchase or acquire an air weapon in Scotland, unless they are otherwise exempt under the legislation.

How do I catch a Rat with killing or hurting it.

I just want transport it to a wood far enough it can't find it's way back.

You can get live traps, which as the title suggests, they are caught live.
The good thing about live traps as opposed to poison, is that they can be released elsewhere and you avoid the problem of a dead decaying rat or mouse causing a smell somewhere where you can't get access.

Yes a registered gas engineer.

The banter is the same, We just take it in our stride. I can’t see the issue in here!
