it is 45 minute long but has many many examples of the appalling state of China's construction industry

quote "" Cutting corners leads to chaos. It's fun to have a laugh at China's shoddy engineering but when it costs lives then it's no laughing matter.""

Tofu-dreg project is a phrase used in the Chinese-speaking world to describe a poorly constructed building, sometimes called just "Tofu buildings".

One of my besties travels extensively in China installing German dye house machinery. Tofu Dreg is by no means common but where it happens it happens bad.

Be very careful of these 'China' channels on YooToob, most of 'em are promoting an alternative agenda.

Where I live, it would be unusual to see newly-built block of flats fall over.

Though to our shame, we allow homes to be clad in flammable materials that allow a minor domestic fire to claim (at least) 72 lives in a single night.

One of them? I thought by definition, you could only have one 'bestie' - you seem to have a few, are you their bestie too? How do they feel about sharing a bestie - do they know each other and if so, are they also besties with each other?

In the same way that nobody believes a word the dork says.

I think we need to worry about the shoddy working practices in this country. Go on any building site in London and you will see a building full of unskilled workers doing jobs that are meant for skilled workers

People are spending 100s of 1000s of £££££s poorly constructed buildings.
Would you buy a new BMW if it was built by an equally unskilled workforce?

I won't. BMW build quality, along with Mercedes, is not what it was.
Would you prefer an Austin? A Hillman?

Not many British car companies had management and directors who are professionals with "Dipl. Ing" or "Dr. Ing" after their name. Serious and professional management running a serious and professional company.

None of them could match Toyota quality processes.

You voted for it so lie in the bed you made.

You wanted to be rid of regulations and red tape - it's Tory mantra - so don't go complaining now, when you are getting exactly what you voted for.

In regard to the construction industry;

The problem with nearly all politicians mainly Tory is that they think a skilled tradesman is merely manual labour. Chucking eastern Europe at our skills shortage is the answer .

Of course it hasn't its just made it worse. MPs would know one end of a hammer to the other.

Industry leaders have had a free hand at ripping the nation off by importing unskilled cheap labour and using inferior materials for years & years.
