This was thread was about China's construction industry and now it is a political fight about British politics.
It is "in scope" but the scope in China is far far wider and deeper where regulations could be seen as permitting ( maybe even encouraging ) shoddy construction to ensure prestigious projects are completed on schedule.Is "shoddy construction due to inadequate regulation" out of scope?
In regard to the construction industry;
The problem with nearly all politicians mainly Tory is that they think a skilled tradesman is merely manual labour. Chucking eastern Europe at our skills shortage is the answer .
Of course it hasn't its just made it worse. MPs would know one end of a hammer to the other.
Industry leaders have had a free hand at ripping the nation off by importing unskilled cheap labour and using inferior materials for years & years.

Is that not the diynot GD way?This was thread was about China's construction industry and now it is a political fight about British politics.
They are not in the running, so not an alternative available to you.
Some of Jeremy's ideas are so shocking that they are worth thinking about.
I've not had a chance to vote again
I think it is very unlikely that you ever got the chance to vote for both Jeremy Corbin and Diane Abbot. I suppose you might be a member of the Labour party and had some kind of leadership vote. Hasn't there been another vote since then?
