As HERTS says,it’s your washer that needs replacing.Hi, does anyone know why my toilet makes a weird noise when flushing? I have an old style toilet. Are there any issues with the pipes?
Would that 100% fix it or will I need to change the whole toilet?Washer in float valve needs to be replaced.

Is it a knocking /vibrating noise ?Would that 100% fix it or will I need to change the whole toilet?
Yes, it’s a bit drastic changing a toilet for a washer, or worse case a new float valve.Would that 100% fix it or will I need to change the whole toilet?
Also which one is the washer?
It is a vibrating noise. Sometimes I also get a knocking noise. Is it a knocking /vibrating noise ?
I will try. Also one part drips when I flush. It is in the unit in the bottom right hand corner of your photo, where cold water goes in. Simple check - try flushing, but holding the arm up on the unit, if it makes no noise until the arm is released, then it is the fill valve.
Yeah but what do you know? Hmppph!I told you what part you need, why are you still asking questions? Don't you believe me??
