toilet waste

changing toilet and the waste pipe has an elbow coming up thru the floor boards.... its not 4inch... put multiwik and its very loose... cant change the waste.... is there anyway to make a secure joint.... could use silicone but is there a better way

If you mean it has the female end of the elbow facing up through floorboards, you can cut a short piece of soil pipe and fix it in. Your pan connecter will then fit.

PS. McAlpine make better WC fittings.
