Don`t know, on rare occassions now when I watch the BBC it`s to tune in to the comedy turns of Robinson, Marr, Dimbleby doing "polite" interviews with Nu-Labour ministers

I've never noticed this. And to be honest, I really couldn't give a damn.

Hopefully, you are going to be just as unhappy that women are under-represented on television, and old people, and electricians. I can't remember the last time I saw an electrician on the TV, but they make up a reasonable percentage of the population.

Oh, and while I'm at it, there are far too many car salesmen on TV - I think we ought to start a campaign against it!

You'd be surprised how many electricians do appear on the box, trouble is they are normally ex sparks who've gone into acting or such ie David Jason Trainee electrician...

If you think its only 5% have a look around, go to London capital of our fair nation where English is a second or third language!
The BBC (black broadcasting company) is thrusting blacks down our throats so that we become immune to their presence and stop noticing. The people who have decided this policy are the ones collecting £200-450, 000 salaries, along with the other part time jobs they do. Their children go to private schools so don't have to struggle in schools with 40% non English speakers. Their children won't have to compete with blacks for jobs, the old boy net work will find them suitable renumeration, nothing less than £30k please, to start.
Did anyone see the Billie Piper detective programme, London at the turn of the 19th century? Apparently there were no white people in London then either. Which is surprising because if you look at period photos of street scenes there ain't no black faces, so where were they all hiding? Where have they all come from and who asked if it was all right with the people who were already here?

Dunno - I switched off. Whenever I see the token black person I can't help thinking "You are only there because you are black". Then I switch over until the same happens on another channel. They've even got a black 'expert' on the Antiques roadshow and he knows less about antiques than I do. So why is he there? Because the other experts are all white people.

How many whites do you see on Al Jazeera? Or on African or Indian TV?

Bit off topic, but talking of prejudices, recently some parents were trying to get a presenter removed from childrens TV.
Her crime?
She only has one hand.
These people were worried that the sight of this hideous "freak" would upset their delicate little flowers.
I was wondering what would happen if one of these parents were involved in an accident and lost a limb?
Would the children have to be taken into care?
Or the parent put away in a special home for the stupidly bigoted to spare the children the awful trauma of having to see the hideous "freak"?

You might not see them very much, unless George Bush and Tony Blair count, but their handiwork is pretty evident all across the Middle-East...

I think the problem might be that it's hard to work out what colour their skin is, when they are doing 600 mph at 20,000 feet and dropping white phosphorus on you...
