Tommy LOSES court case. __Thread Moved to GD__

Antifa are a group who seek to combat neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and far-right extremists

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) - a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy

It is hard to believe, let alone understand, why so many people today disagree with an organisation set up to combat that. Why do so many people today want a world with leaders that support fascism? Completely mad. Just shows how far the media have gone in brainwashing people.

Obviously turning up to the home of a mother and children and harassing them is a dick move. But it amazes me also how a woman could put up with somebody like Yaxley. I read an interview a while back and she said that Yaxley at home and Robinson are 2 different people and he doesn't bring his "political work" home, he's a normal bloke when with the family. And his wife hates his so-called alter-ego - I suspect it is not an alter-ego at all, that's just what he says to try to explain himself and his actions.

He's a man that says he wants to combat extremism, but does so by fuelling hatred towards others and using violence. He has become exactly what he believes he is fighting against. He sounds totally bonkers.

Whether this was because of this complaint or all the previous complaints over defrauding legal aid is anyone's guess.
How many, exactly?

Do tell us.

Possibly irrelevant but Messrs Bajwa and Akunjee have represented the Begum family and defended the murderer of Lee Rigby.
Oh look - a dog whistle.

Of course its irrelevant, except to the bigots, the islamophobes, the racists....

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's something a little bit odd about this case,
Of course you have, and of course you will, because youre an Islam-hating RWR.

and very little information in the mainstream media.
Very little information?

Or very little of the made-up religious- and race-hate nonsense that you believe?

That's unfair. Filly's just old is all and reads The Wail.

First he tried to lie about the judgement and then was handed his hide. He then tried to argue this incident precipitated the closing of the school - another lie. Now he is making some weird reference to the solicitors.

Give credit to filly even at his age he doesn't know when he's beat and keeps coming back for more. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Whatever your opinion of Tommy Robinson, it doesn't distract from the fact that without proper legal representation, Robinson didn't get a fair hearing.

That is incorrect. The judge gave him a fair hearing. Tommy didn't pay for legal representation - his own choice.

So stop trying to make false conclusions.

If the wider argument is - why is legal representation so expensive and how can we make access to the law more equitable are really important issues but when you have people saying we need less legal aid - it's hard to accept them when they moan about the effects of the cuts they champion.

Robinson didn't get a fair hearing.

he got the hearing he wanted. He wanted to represent himself, he knew it would fail, so why pay a lawyer to represent him? And he knew it would keep him in the headlines, and people would keep talking about him.

If things go quiet he'll do something to get himself banged up again for a few months.

He chose to represent himself. If he's stupid enough to do that then whining about not having proper representation later is absurd.

Poor Tommy backed himself into a corner. He was exercising 'damage limitation' when he chose to represent himself, knowing he'd only have one set of solicitors fees to pay.

Hard to see how a barrister could have stopped the judge from noticing the lack of any evidence to corroborate the various claims from various people that TR based his defence of truth on.

People like him, (his supporters here likewise) tend not to be the sharpest knives in the box. They construct alternative realities in their "minds" which are based on and reinforce their prejudices, and then when, inevitably, their constructions lose in a collision with actual reality they genuinely cannot understand why, and start all over again with more fictions of establishment and MSM conspiracies to add to their existing delusions.

It isn't a false conclusion.
Do you believe that someone who represents themselves in court has the same chance of acquittal as someone who has professional advice and representation.
If you do believe the above, then why do people pay lawyers to fight their case.

Again you are conflating issues. He did get a fair hearing- the evidence which was his witnesses were given the opportunity to make their statements. What he didnt get was fair representation which was on him.

Robinson didn't get a fair hearing.
