Too old?.....

moz, I suffered the humiliation of queueing up for free school meal tokens and being laughed at for it.
I was a child of a widowed mother and was always fed and clean and I was told to never feel ashamed.
Life would have been very difficult for us without benefits.
Benefits were a stop gap for us and my mother went out to clean for people at the 'posh end' of town!!
This makes me all the more annoyed at this yes... lazy girl who will no doubt have another baby soon as life is a breeze for her and she doesnt even have any aspirations to better herself.
Thats not snobbery talking... its a case of I think you should blooming work.

we NEED to STOP the same cycle of generations expecting state funding from cradle too Grave ..they need to Learn that contributing too society is much more worth while an rewarding ...

once was a shameful stigma to be from a family on benefits , which was wrong ...

now its too easy for lazy workshy hardfaced scum to milk the system ...

well, considering they said her oldest child was 44, I lean toward thinking about the child. The mother would be 80 by the time the child is 18....and even if mom were in great physical shape (for her age), it would seem baby girl would suffer in other ways. I don't believe just because you are able, you should have children and that applies to young, middle and old....it is a great responsibility and a lasting commitment...she should have gotten a cat :D

well, she did seem caring and "all" her children agreed.....and cats lifespans are from what 17 to 25 (I still say that is rare) and they are a little more independent...(can't tell it from here)....okay, you win. Maybe a goldfish then...a cheap little goldfish....they're deserving too...but they don't live very long in the best of circumstances.

If our government changed their mindset and truly started to educate the children then many of these problem families would not have found themselves in the benefit cycle. The current government, on taking office said education, education, education. They never ended the sentence. The end reads, but only for the few. Education is everything. It is the single most important thing in the life of a child, (+LOVE ). We must all do our best to encourage our children, grandchildren to learn. My way is to reach them through things that they enjoy. Turn these elements into subliminal education. You just can't leave it to the teachers alone. We have to help all we can!! Remove the blame culture. Look to solutions.

Then these benefit unfortunates will be able to have employment and contribute to society. It's also a knock on effect, the better educated you are then the better chance your child will follow the upward chain. BE HAPPY
