Too white, too posh’

His whiteness is offensive to the snowflakes (usually white themselves)

is he one of these?

If the day comes when they become under-represented among MPs and Mayors, perhaps we will have gone too far. That day has not yet come.

so in your opinion, skin colour is the more important characteristic of fitness for a job.

Don't give a toss about his colour, but he's just another career Mayor. Let's quickly look at them so far:

Ken Livingstone - Labour / Independent
Leader of the Greater London Council (GLC) from 1981 until the council was abolished in 1986
Born in Lambeth, South London, to a working-class family
Elected as MP for Brent East in 1987, he became closely associated with anti-racist campaigns.
Introduced the congestion charge, Oyster card, and articulated buses, and unsuccessfully opposed the government's privatisation of London Underground.
Initiating and overseeing London's winning bid to host the 2012 Summer Olympics
ushering in a major redevelopment of the city's East End

Boris Johnson - Tory
former journalist
Born in New York City to upper-middle class British parents
educated at the European School, Brussels
MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008
(MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015
Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018
introduced the New Routemaster buses, cycle hire scheme, and Thames cable car.

Sadiq Khan - Labour
Born in Tooting, South London, to a working-class British family
law degree from the University of North London
solicitor specialising in human rights issues
Councillor for the London Borough of Wandsworth from 1994 to 2006
elected MP for Tooting at the 2005 general election

Rory Stewart - Tory
Education at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford,
a diplomat, working in Indonesia and Montenegro.
He left the civil service to undertake a two-year walk across Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, India and Nepal. Wrote a book
parliamentary candidate for Penrith and The Border
Chair of the Defence Select Committee
Minister of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

He might be a nice bloke, but I really don't see how he can represent the people of London. He left the civil service to go for a walk and write a book - he's naturally a loner, not a Londoner!
He probably thinks all Londoners are like

Putting it like this, Ken Livingstone is not that bad.
Surely the worst one is khan by a long mile.
Even boris did better, incredibly.

Why is Khan worse? Born, bred, educated and worked in London all his life. How is that worse than the others?
Boris did OK, but he never represented the London population, at least, not the population East of Leicester Square, or south of the river.

Khan promised a lot and did exactly the opposite.
Example: he promised 500 extra police officers, he cut 2000 as soon as he walked in.

Lol, that never happened. He has been campaigning for more police since day one.

If there were cuts just after he too kthe position, it was because the cuts were made by the government - the mayor does not control the Met Police or its funding.

The head of the Metropolitan Police is the Commissioner (not a Chief Constable) who reports to the Home Secretary, and is appointed by the Queen on the advice of the Home Secretary.

@johnny2007 Do you remember who was Home Secretary when police numbers were cut?

If not, I can give you some clues.
