ARE YOU STUPID ? IM LOSING MY PATIENCE NOW.....

IT IS A VAUXHALL VECTRA 1.9 CDTI 120 BHP, IT HAS A FIAT ENGINE !!!!!
I must apologise.
I could've never dreamed of such thing as a Vauxhall scrap using a Fiat engine.
I would prefer a vehicle built in the rice fields of countryside China than that.
Trust me, scrap this scrap and buy a proper motor.
I heard it all now!

I've nothing to offer here, if there's no evidence of an angle grinder chopping into the wiring loom then Kwik Fit have nothing to answer.
I'd be heading to a Bosch fuel injection specialist and my guess is that they will renew the wiring loom to the injectors.
John :)

I appreciete that you have offered some help into this matter so thanks.

I see no visible damage to the wiring but it may be worth getting a second opinion on the wiring. Could they have maybe damaged the ECU with the sparks of the grinder ? they had it operating under the car near downpipe and around bonnet area. I do not know what else he touched under the bonnet as I was stood outside.

Would it be fairly easy for a specialist to determine if the wiring loom needed replacing and would the wiring look cause a leak ? the smell of fuel fills the car just before the car cuts out and throws the codes for injectors open circuit

All I can say is that I've never ever seen a screw in injector intermittently leak like that....clamped in ones maybe but why is beyond me.
Injector looms are reasonably priced and do fail, I've had two Isuzu ones do this.
Sparks don't affect ECUs, but welding does.
An exhaust clamp would be cut through in 10 sec or less with minimal sparks so why the reported excessive sparking is beyond me.
I think diagnosis using a professional scanner recording live data is needed.
I do appreciate that its the owners prerogative to spend his money anyway he wants though!
John :)
