thanks stivino ... i need one with a small shaft as the access is round the back of a kitchen unit and i don't what to take the unit out ....thanks again
Im guessing the kitchen fitters have been at work again. A token effort towards accessibility, as they won't ever have to turn the stopcock themselves!
Have you thought about cutting a 'proper' access hole in the back of the unit, then fitting an easily removable hatch / cover (catflap?) over it?
Small inspection hatches are often available from places like boat chandlers. Here's some picked at random.... http://www.imsupplies.co.uk/home.php?cat=246
I once used a piece cut from a spare unit back panel held in place with velcro.
