Topping up boiler, how often?

It's held at one bar again overnight. I'll let you all know what the engineer says today, and if he can't find anything I can start trying the things you have all previously suggested

So everything was fine, and this one was down to me over thinking things.

From reading the internet I was under the impression that 0.3 bars was a lot of water, and to lose that three times must be a leak.

The guy drained the boiler down from 1.0 to when it stops working, and it's really not much water at all.

The drops I was seeing was most likely just air escaping, just more than I was previously used to.

He did replace the Schrader valve on the expansion tank though, so maybe that was letting by a little.

Can't fault the service tbh. Thanks for all the help on here too

If the precharge pressure was 0.75bar which your drain down would seem to indicate it was, then the engineer should have drained 1.25L from the EV in falling from 1.0bar to 0.75bar. Did he tell you what pressure he precharged to after renewing the schrader valve?
