I have little experience in the use of Torx screws and screwdrivers, but wishing to access and (hopefully) repair a Karcher window vac which has (of course!) very deep set Torx screws, I decided to purchase a set of long bladed Torx screwdrivers:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004ZFD6V6/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
which I hope will stand the test of time.
I have also now managed to dissemble a Magimix food mixer to repair the 'pulse' button switch, which had come adrift.
I have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised how easy it is to use Torx screws and drivers. They don't slip like bladed screwdrivers and don't cam out like Pozidrive and Phillips drivers. In fact I am sufficiently impressed that I'm giving serious consideration to buying and using Torx screws for all (or most) applications in future.
If anyone has had experience in using these particular (Sealey) tools, I'd be interested to hear your opinion.
BTW, both Karcher and Magimix appliances now work perfectly!
