You do talk some rubbish, to be released on licence you have to have served a prison sentence.Well in actual fact it wasn't an amnesty, but a 'release on licence'...
And as part of that it was made clear that there would still be prosecutions should new evidence be found.
That is what has happened with the ex service men...
And you're a tad out of date as regards 'amnesty'...

"The cornerstone is a new, independent Historical Investigations Unit (HIU) that will take over the caseload of those deaths reviewed by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) that require further investigation.
It will also provide relatives with as much information and support as is possible.
But the government has avoided controversy by rejecting the most contentious and explosive issue of all. Amnesty.
There were attempts to have it included in the early draft of legislation, the result of a campaign by Northern Ireland veterans facing prosecution for killings decades ago.
Such an amnesty, legally defined as a "statute of limitations", was recommended by MPs on the Defence Select Committee and championed by veterans' supporters at Westminster and the military.
However, the amnesty envisaged only applied to soldiers, although arguably under international law, it could not be selective and, controversially, would have to apply to the IRA and other groups."
Anyone who uses a paintball gun for target practice wants their heads looking at.
It could be good practice for rushing into a building/room where folks are shooting back at you, a bit like real life.
If you factor in the pain a close range paint ball inflicts on the recipient it adds to the experience but without killing anyone.

"The Northern Ireland (Offences) Bill says that anyone accused of terrorist offences committed before 10 April 1998 will be tried by tribunal, but will be released under licence if found guilty. You do talk some rubbish
Because they are lying scumbag f***wits? Why do people keep confusing diplomacy and peace talks with supporting terrorists?
Corbyn has had no problems posing for pictures with people who targeted British soldiers for assassination
Stop posting then.Yea **** happens
They shouldn't, if you believe that members of the armed forces don't need to behave any better than terrorists. If the IRA are no longer accountable for their crimes why should ex service men be hounded for alleged offences from 40 years ago.
Another quitling with nothing but contempt for international treaties.fekin good friday agreement
It's not his politics that divides us. I can respect another who holds a different political opinion, believes in or practises a different religion.
I cannot respect someone who resorts to endless malicious untrue allegations, distortion of others' views, racist comments and outright lies.
Maybe notch, et al have totally the wrong idea.
Maybe instead of me being several people. Maybe several people are me. Maybe we take it in turns.
Still not a smidgen of evidence, just repetitive malicious gossip, just like your ridiculous nonsense about fellow traveller.Everybody knows your multiple usernames.
