The losers in this are the public in terms of safety and financially.
Try to be less blinkered and you'll see the big picture. My guess is the big guy will be let off with a caution but its the end of his "have a go" career for certain and that path is bad for society as a whole imo where one person is not allowed to help another and the state tells us it knows better.

What makes me really laugh/cringe is the fact that the deadly Ninja continues to use the phrase 'Liberal do-gooder' in completely the wrong context.
