Yes, and the OP has already said he could do the same thing again. I think he is looking for a better solution.

Thanks yeah they'd bent the connector into an s shape - im not sure at which point this technically becomes a trap if at all? I mean I could do the same thing again (although every one i see has a terrible review) but will it work the same? I don't need it to be accessible, just as long as it stops foul coming in I'm happy.
