The only problem with those slimline fluorescent fittings I've found is sourcing replacement tubes as every manufacturer seems to use a slightly different length and wattage. I fit LED strip as standard now as it gives great even light and no call backs for repairs.
Somehow I reckon I'm digging myself a grave here, but I'll risk the mods zapping me (for being off topic), maybe I now know why ericmark doesn't do "theory".
