Trickin' 'n' Treatin'

To avoid taking our kids trick or treating and also to avoid the annoying knocks on the door we went to the cinema. Saw a boring film about a rat chef and then went to Pizza Hut. We must have spent fifty quid. Would have been cheaper to buy the kids some costumes plus a few bags of sweets. It'll be the Guy Fawkes lot next, then the godawful so called Carolers. Only a matter of time before they find a reason to knock on the doors at Easter.

film about a ratty chef. Me? Of to the club soon for a couple of jugs. Is there a match on Sky tonight?

That film is great. You should go.

Brilliant was the word used by my crew and after a once every six months meal at a fast food place T & T was forgotten and happiness was the order of the day.

Great minds may often think alike but their opinions may differ. Notb665 thought that "the film was great" while Mrs B and my kids thought that "it was brilliant". We do however, agree on the cost of the cinema visit.

PS Mrs B bought 2 bottles of juice for a £1 from our local supermarket to take to the cinema because she thought that they would be more expensive there. How right she was. £3.80 for the exact same buy!

Yeah - the same brand of pick n' mix sweets are £0.49/100gr at Wilkinson's, but £1.80/100gr at Odeon. Phew!

Took my kids to a 'light party' at a local church instead of T or T - lots of games, bit of singing etc. and avoided being at home so a fairly good result.
