Triton T80z shower not working

Hello,

I have a Triton T80z electric shower about 8 years old. The power light is on but there is no water coming out of the shower head. What could be the cause? TIA

Sounds like the solenoid valve has failed.

Its telling you its time to be replaced . Five years with average family usage is a good life span for this type of shower .

Before ordering parts ,you would be wise to ascertain the part is actually faulty. The first thing to establish is the voltages present at the showers main incoming terminal block.
If that's in order , the solenoid can be checked out for resistance.

Solenoid changed. Power light is flickering slightly still not working.

Did you check the incoming voltage?

Seems like this advice may have been ignored !!

For the cost of a new shower, you should of bought a new shower.
