I can't go this year, not even for a flying visit just for the superbike race. but I'm finding that TV & Yootoob coverage is getting better & better all the time.
This chaps channel is by far the best quality insight & throws most of the pro's under the bus . . . .
In my day I was a very fast rider & used to tear @r$e around at silly speeds leaving all my mates behind. I tried circuit racing briefly but just couldn't hack doing 150+ in a pack of 'nutters' despite my extremely competitive nature. I once rode thru our local town center @100+, an extremely stupid thing to do & more so when I tell you I was on the back wheel at the time. When I was sat 'chatting' to a copper awhile later about this 'stunt' I honestly thought I was in full control & the danger therefore was minimal.
This is Davy Todd on a hot lap doing what he does. To most of you it will look incredibly scary. To me, it just makes me want to get the bike out.
