Tumble dryer rear bush advice

Assuming the shaft is not damaged having eaten in to the back panel after going through the bearing, you just need a genuine Hotpoint rear bearing. C00142628. I only ever use the genuine ones, even then some last longer than others. If the shaft is badly scored you will need to replce the shaft as well.

I was not advising you to change it. I was asking you if there were rollers attached to the inside of it that supported the rear of the drum. They were also numbered 423 on the exploded view, unless I am misunder standing the drawing.

That looks like the bearing or bush spacer for the motor as the fan blade then is installed.

The photo of the rear drum spindle matches what i have.
