I was stationed at RAF Wattisham on 111Sqdn, the other Sqdn was 92, they lost Lightnings like they were going out of fashion, one of my oppo's on 92, while strapping the jockey in asked if he had his mask & snorkel, anyway is 92Sqdn now based in Lossiemouth??

Hopefully the two man crew banged out and are ok.

doesnt look good Pred....2 are still missing :rolleyes:

the conditions cant be good, my big brother works on the Rigs out there and has been given an extra days leave coz they cant get them out on the helicopters..
 
Its odd that two go in, it sounds like they had a mid air collision, IF they banged out the seat would look after them if they lost conciousness, then their imersion suits would keep them alive in the icy waters for a while.

Lets hope the crewe are found safe and sound. However I have to say these planes getting destroyed simply means they cannot be used to kill innocent people abroad, which can only be a good thing.

End these corporate/arms manufacturer sponsored wars.
