I posted a link leading to credible evidence, you are dismissing it like you do.

To easy.

Perfectly possible,

"The granite core published by Petrie was made by the ancient Egyptians using a tubular drill."

I'm open to the idea of visitors from space but, like bigfoot, I can't help thinking we'd have something a bit more definite by now.

If there are (or have been) visitors from space, the more interesting thing is where they have come from and how they travel vast distances in craft that never seem to be particularly big. Yes I get that we are probably primitive morons by comparison, but we've been testing what we know about physics for quite a long time now and there are certain 'laws' that just don't seem to want to budge. Energy and mass being one of them.

If there are definitely extra terrestrial worked objects in existence and even non-human life forms (is that the correct terminology? I've got a feeling 'alien' will be become known as the 'A' word in the future) and the US government know about it, why would they not just say so? Why not put the stuff into a museum and let people see it for themselves?

So-called carvings of spacemen is nonsense. None of them actually look like spacemen. In ancient times people were surprisingly creative and were prone to drawing fantastical images in religious texts.

And why do spacecraft always land in the deserts of the US. Why not Swindon or Milton Keynes?

Conclusion
granite sarcophagus lid from the Old Kingdom period has begun to suggest resolutions to an important scholarly controversy between Petrie and Lucas, and has produced some preliminary insights into the hitherto speculative technology used. These are: 1) loose, dry abrasives (except diamond) did not produce concentric lines; 2) fixed abrasives or those in a watery slurry or a lubricant such as olive oil did produce concentric cutting lines; 3) corundum and diamond cannot be ruled out as not having been used to drill granite. These findings are significant in the history of ancient lapidary technology and will be useful in research on other stones. The discovery of the significance of the concentric lines, and also their significance as an indicator of the abrasive employed, will be useful for further research. Each type of stone will have to be dealt with separately.

Yeah a power drill. You’ve no chance with this subject. Wobble off to Wimbledon lad.

I have 100% proved you wrong, which isn't difficult. Back to TikTok for you.

Petrie agrees it could be done, "In essence, then, Lucas and Petrie, looking at the same regular concentric lines on drilled cores of granite (Fig. 1, disagreed as to whether they were made using a loose wet quartz sand abrasive (Lucas), or fixed points of emery (Petrie). (Note: Emery is a granular rock composed mainly of corundum—a crystalline compound of silicon and carbon—magnetite and spinel. Here, `emery’ and `corundum’ are used for the abrasive powders derived from these rocks.)

You’ve done nothing of the sort. 500 times the bore rate. With a bit of sand an olive oil ? You do know how hard granite is ?

What’s the average weight of a pyramid block ? How many are there. We can move on to Geopolymer when you’re ready.

I dread to think what happens when you get a call back at work.

This is you all over:

Impressive for a few days. 2 inch in sand stone! And the hole looks oval.
