Hi all, in the market for a doorbell. I would like one that has an sd card for storage in the hub/chime (not in the unit) and a high quality camera (5mp) Considering getting the tapo D230S1. Any recommendations. Thanks!

Don't get a Blink, it only works when it feels like it and takes ages to send to the internal box, which then sends the message to your phone via a phone mast located somewhere on the surface of Pluto before sending it to you phone.

I have Eufy, and have installed 2 more for family members I have the dual cam (one faces down for parcel monitoring) which is quite handy. Quality is great and self storage on the home base unit

I wonder how well the Eufy S330 would manage being on a door that is directly onto the street footpath?

Seemingly the storage cannot be increased from the std 16gb it comes with, that IMO is a drawback as 16gb is way too small IMO, I'd want to keep videos longer than however long a mere 16gb lasts for with 2K video.

ALthough all the video doorbells appear to come with pretty pathetic fixing methods, something that costs over £100 on a front door being fixed with sticky pads or silly litle screws is asking to be pulled off (if it does not fall off that is).

to be fair seemingly light fixing will tend to be sensible as easy to dislodge, so reduced damage so reuse quite easy
my thoughts oversized in your face fitted distracts from the subtle well disguised actual working pinhole cameras
in other words pander to the often less enlightened where easily visible will discourage abuse from the casual person passing to the dedicated "its going off " squad who will now be captured on the possibly far more subtle than their processing ability in the form of a non-existent recording danger in comparison to a big visible deterant

If you get it with a chime then i believe you can add an sd card to increase storage
