One of the key reasons for vaccination is to reduce the severity of the infection should you become infected. What seems not to get through is that no health service anywhere in the world had or has the capacity to deal with the massive numbers of people who would potentially have required ICU care in the absence of vaccination. it is also the case that if you've been vaccinated the effects of getting COVID are less severe, that you are less likely to need hospital treatment and that if you do you are both less likely to need ICU care and to die as a result of complications. That is called a pragmatic approach rather than a fulminating one

It's all about transfer of wealth; if there really was an economic emergency the government would suspend taking green levies from fuel, which, according to some, amounts to 30% of what we pay.
