It is probably information that makes them have second thoughts about fitting when they learn how complicated and dangerous it can be.

I decided to exercise my newly-restored freedom and posted a reply to a question on UKPF. Clicked the 'post' button and up comes my post with a strap-line saying (paraphrased) "this post wont be visible to others until it has been approved by a mod." That didn't happen in the 'old' days.
