Looking at the installation manual and make-up it just seems to be needlessly complicated and I'm trying to understand why such a system would be chosen for a new build extension?

I'm looking at it and thinking it doesn't look right, the roofing material doesn't normally sit at the water line. The flash band in the middle looks like it is a patch to join the guttering system, the red circled are at the bottom of the hip just looks like they have ran out of ideas.
