Hi I have a combi Boiler feeding a sealed radiator central heating system. Is it possible to add wet underfloor heating in the bathroom from tapped off this system?
Cheers

Very easy, have you got somewhere for the manifold to go though.

Why would he need a manifold ?.

Also ,wont the roomstat just shut the system down if up to temp leaving the UF section barely warmed up due to the time lag. :(

a manifold is required becuase underfloor runs at lower temp, have you watched what a boiler does with the room stat.

OOh I get it. Seems OTT for a bathroom though. Bet you have ripped off more than a few people doing something like this I bet.

NOT what the OP Has asked for, two people disagreeing.

I've never RIPPED.. anyone off.

OTT :?: what do you do for a living.

As clf-gas has said you will need a manifold with temperature regulator (max temp about 25 degrees or the floor will crack/warp)

Why do you assume clfgas is ripping people off by letting you know the correct way of installing underfloor heating.

Underfloor area needs manifold and seperate pump assembly as well as individual room stat. Water for underfloor will be mixed with return water to lower temp around circuit. It is not like adding another rad

clfgas, I wouldn't bother trying to help op as he seems to think we are all rip offs, even though we give advice on here for free

I would let him f*** it up for himself

Dont listen to these cowboys Bobby. What their suggesting will leave you with little change out of £500.

BES supply this for valve in the link below for £26.
If I was fitting my own UFH in my own bathroom this is what I would use anyway and just stick a ZV on the CH and perhaps a wireless stat to control the bathroom UFH section.
But I wouldnt do it in my own bathroom even though I could diy this and the cost would be minimal as the floor area is just to small.

You got it wrong gas4you. Im the one who suggested clf was a rip off.

Balenza, you are talking out of your a***. Keep wearing your stetson and colt 45 and leave the rest of us to put right your c*** installations that will end up costing op twice in the long run.

BES is known widely to supply cheap c*** that doesen't work. We all supply and fit quality components and have to offer warranties with our installations.
