Undermount sink just unattached from Quartz worktop after 4 weeks.

We (wrongly it now transpires) trusted that the people who were fitting the sink along with the worktop, would be fitting the sink in a secure manner.
If it needed an extra mechanical support, they should have made sure of that. We thought that they would be clamping the sink to the underside of the worktop.
Expensive mistake possibly.

With our sink after a while the gap between sink and granite opened up a bit and I had to add shims to the frame. I did look at drilling the underside of the granite for blind fixing holes to secure the sink. Gave up on that as the drill made very little impression and then found out that we could have had these holes drilled if we had asked for them. But an expensive addition
