Can anyone help me understand what the following BS certificate means? It is:

CE /UKCA : (BS)EN14915:2013+A2:2020

More specifically I am would like to know what the ‘A2:2020’ part means. Is it a fire rating?

I am trying to find out the fire rating for Wickes 8mm x 94mm tongue and groove cladding.

Plus amendment 2, dated 2020

Its an amendment to the standard, the product complies to the [second] amended version (published in 2020) of the standard which was originally released in 2013. As to whether this implies any fire rsistance.... you'd have to look at the standard itself (or at least a summary of it)

The standard you mention is most likely a standard for materials and manufacturing and may not even mention anything about a fire rating. That would have to be tested and measured against a specific fire rating test and would result in a recognised fire rating. The process is expensive and not even all door manufacturers bother. If the product had been tested and had a fire rating you can bet your life it would be emblazoned all over the product. Expensive process which leads to a much more useful product = more uses and more sales. In the absence of any fire rating being obvious you can presume the actual fire rating is similar to something like - firewood?
