Universal click waste in place of pop up?

Hi.
My daughter has a pop up waste in her house ( the one where you press a lever behind the taps) but the pop up system doesn't work. She has to take the plug physically out to empty the sink. Before I replace it for a new one could one of these universal pop up plugs just be dropped into the plugless hole? Thanks

Me too I have been looking for a replacement for my click - clack pop up that has broken and have come across those in your picture on amazon.

just measure it and see if it'll fit, these comes in a huge number of different sizes.

Me too, our normal rubber bath plug can be heard leaking. They don't seem to suggest actual diameter for the plugs on ebay..
