I need to buy a large wooden shed. There are 2 local manufacturers -- both with great reviews so I'd like to go with one of those.
The first uses pressure-treated spruce and doesn't offer the option of having gutters fitted.
The second uses scandinavian redwood that isn't pressure treated. (And they can fit gutters)
With regular wood preservative treatment is there likely to be any difference between them in terms of how long they might last? And in a few years which type of shed would still be a good colour? I'm wondering if the redwood will turn into a darker duller colour and the spruce will look better? Any thoughts would be great.
