its a plain ended saw set with a beech handle as still used in the 1960s in 1964 sold at a price of 5 shillings and 3 pennys

That it then ( unless you know better ).

nothing against you, its just annoying when your 100% right and people do not belive you. writing is a bit new to me, and its hard to make the small posts that i do. anyway have a good new year.

OK mate, no worries - its an age since I've seen a B&H catalogue (maybe 1975) although I used to spend a fortune of schools budgets on their supplies.....until they priced themselves out of our market.
You've done some bloomin' and unique posts so keep it up!

True Dat, you put in the set by eye and feel they were more for the professional sharpeners.
