Checking the labels on the feather ones, it said 'Do not wash, do not dry clean' - Oh, well too late now.

pillows are really cheap to buy now. I occasionally put them on a delicate machine wash, then (if sunny) hang them outside for initial dry, then give a long half-heat tumble

it is important to get them fully dry to prevent rot

any that are no longer fit for use get binned or passed to cat rescue for bedding.

That rental looked disgusting. You do get people take the p*** on both sides. Had a person try to argue 3/4 refund because the ferry kept blasting its horn.

it’s kinda what happens when you rent a place next to 2 marinas and a busy ferry route.

There was a story a year or two ago about a couple of 'townies' who moved to a small village in the country. They got fed up of the local church bell ringers practicing every Friday evening then the full bells on a Sunday morning. They challenged the parish council to force them to stop the bells and they refused. It then went to local magistrates court who refused before going to appeal and then a Crown Court in a near by city, (think it was in the midlands somewhere). Crown Court threw it out, told them they should move back to the city and awarded all costs against them.
