Light switches are usually 10AX, didn't know they could be 16AX.
Doesn't really matter if the 13A sockets are single or double pole.
A light switch with two terminals is a 1-way.
Three terminals is a 2-way.
Four terminals is an intermediate.
You'll need some copper wire (a meter of 1mm Twin and earth), and earth sleeve

What are you talking about?As they're metal, the light switches need extra earthing which isn't there at the minute.

Oh - sorry - I hadn't realised that they were welded to the box, I thought they could be moved to the switch faceplate.The earth goes to the box, but if he's using metal light swtiches, then it'll need to go to the face plate as well.
