Upgrading cooker questions.

Just calculated your voltage drop (assuming 25m as WCS) as 4.96V.
 
So, if my circuit length is less than 20m, that is good for using what I already have installed ... I shouldn't need to upgrade anything ... yes?
 
hmm maybe I was a little TOO concise with my answer..

They said what I said.. but in more depth..

cookers rarely have all things able to be working at the same time ( grill and oven switch are one and the same etc.. )

30 amps fine without the socket on the cooker control switch.

volt drop can be down to 207 volts by the new 18th regs.. + or - 10%...

Ok ColJack, sounds like I should be ok with what i've got.
The plan is...
1) Change the Cooker Socket for one without a 13A socket incorporated.
2) Connect the cooker and see how it goes.
3) IF the fuse blows, will have to re-think ... 40A breaker AND 10mm cable? Ouch, that'll be problematic, and damage the bank account!!!
