upgrading RCBO for new thermostatic electric shower

Thought I’d quickly double-check to put my mind at ease. This is a photo of the cable currently running up in the loft across to the bathroom…

Sorry, I missed your previous reference to 10mm² cable(thanks EFLI for bringing it to my attention). The cable in your photo does indeed look (dimension wise) to be 10mm² - which would be fine with a 50A RCBO (assuming that it's not buried in thermal insulation somewhere along its path!).
