Bit of an update on this suggestion:
So if anybody is trying to confuse, make sure you slip a few yorkshire fittings over the pyro first, and solder them in place. Could always add a few tee's, with pipes and elbows running off to stopends somewhere, for added confusion.
I was looking at a run of that in Baker Street station whilst waiting for a train, and of course the lack of joints is a dead giveaway.
