mickyg, what about the stat? Will the stat work with coloured wires, earth, neutral and live? It sez it needs 4 wires? is this true? can you confirm?

if not, then we'll just leave the stat and not use it.

colours not important, where it goes is

common and call on r'stat i think go to 1 and 3 on wiring centre

Unless you use the Honeywell cyclinder and room stats the pin numbers in the wiring center will NOT necessarily correspond...there are no standards.

You need the LNE connected to the wiring center.

With a mid-position valve you MUST have the hot water off wire connected from the programmer to the centre.

Failed miserably.... Just got back! I now have an unworking system. Time to call the pros.
