If the gate being closed is important, you'd be better installing a gate closer/spring on it. Can't rely on members of the public and/or delivery folk to adhere to such requests.

I'm getting wary of Ebay sellers who use Evri. It would have to be either very well priced or something no other sellers using Royal Mail are offering for me to buy from anyone using Evri. Then it would be only if I was prepared to wait up to a week or more for hit and miss delivery schedule. Unfortunately more sellers are using Evri due to the lower costs. Must be a lot more aggro for them though with all the complaints and negative feedback.
