utility shower fitted

Hi,
I am looking at installing a shower cubicle into our current utility room that has a washing machine inside.
The room already houses sink and toilet and has fan to the outside.
Drainage no issue.
I wanted to know if this is possible and should the washer be hard wired outside the room.
