I do agree

the new boiler was installed by a fully certified boiler and unvented cylinder CORGI installer.

unfortunately the wiring to vr 65 was installed by an electrician who went on holiday last weekend.

In that case make sure the installer notifies CORGI of BOTH boiler and cylinder and that CORGI then send you the blue Certificates.

CORGI in turn notify Building Control who are then expected to input into searches for the HIP.

I expect that any party would pick up votes by abolishing the HIPs. They just do not achieve anything much now.

Come October an energy efficiency Certificate is required for a rented property. So far I have not seen any leaflets about it.

Never known anyone selling a house to be asked to provide the certificate as yet.

Complete load of bulls**t if you ask me, just a non-enforceable corgi money making opportunity as usual.
