Vaillant Question

This should be an easy question for the Vaillant experts out there. I have recently had a 618 system boiler, Unistor 155, VR 65 and VR 360 programmable room stat fitted. The VR65 is communicating with the Unistore via the NTC.

I have set the DHW temperature via the VR360, and everything seems fine. However I have read various posts on here that state that when using the VR65 the DHW temp control on the boiler comes into play.

Could anyone clarify this for me please?

With your set up I would leave the DHW control at maximum and let the VRT360 control it.

Some of the Vaillant controls do not allow setting of the DHW within them.

The VR65 will also increase the flow temp to heat the Unistor up quicker.

You also have an anti-legionnaire setting and the option of HW priority or shared.
