Vaillant VRC470f outside sensor saying Clean Sensor on VR21 outside sensor

Hello All,

My first post - so I have a Vaillant ECO Tech 832 combi boiler used for CH and DHW. No second heating zones etc.

The VRC470F controller is stating to clean the sensor which I will do this evening when I am home.

The radio receiver unit plugged into the boiler is red and when I press the reset button this flashes white/green and then goes back to red.

I have read through a few posts on here for advice and was thinking if I had to replace part or all of the units controller, radio receiver and outside sensor which would be the best Vaillant to go with. It is currently wireless and although the signal sometimes is a bit hit an miss on the whole it worked quite well.

Here's hoping the VR21 only needs a clean and a reset but just in case...

Any thoughts advice greatly appreciated.
